Timothy Montgomery is an Adjunct Professor for Colorado Technical University and an Information Systems Security Officer at Jacobs and is assigned to the United States Missile Defense Agency. He is assigned as a Senior Cyber Security Professional with over 23 years of experience in Cyber Security analytics; Enterprise System Hardening; System Engineering; Software/Hardware Security evaluation and configurations; Military Tactical Networks; Tiers 1, 2, and 3 Support; Switch/PC Maintenance; and NOC operations within Government, Military, and Commercial industries.
Timothy obtained his Master of Science in Management with a concentration in Information Systems Security from Colorado Technical University in 2015. He has over 20 years of experience working in the Department of Defense and state government facilities working with clients with a variety of Cyber Security and System Infrastructure requirements. Over the past ten years, he has completed over 25 Information Technology related certifications to include CISSP, MCSE, SEC+, LINUX+, PROJECT+, CCNA Security.
Timothy is a professional member of IEEE, ISSA, and ISC2. He enjoys his family, collaborating with other professionals in Cyber Security, he is a member of the Frank J. Carroll Marine Corps League as the Detachment’s Chaplin, and a member of the American Legion Post 1187. He also enjoys volunteering at his local church.
